WELCOME INSIDE THE LAB

A duck. A spatula.
Endless curiosity.

QuackPot Food Lab brings food-inspired stories, learning resources, and games together. Created and directed by Jason Blazer, also known as Chef Blaze.

MEET YOUR CURIOUS CREW

QuackPot & Spatch.

QuackPot is our curious duck chef: big questions, enthusiastic discoveries, and a saucepan hat that is hard to miss.

Spatch is his spatula sidekick, always ready with an idea—or a guess that deserves another look. Together, they make room for observation, a little laughter, and changing your mind.

A WORK IN PROGRESS — COME EXPLORE WITH US

We’re testing
a curious idea.

Can food stories, playful challenges and simple activities help people ask better questions and stay curious about the world around them? That’s the idea behind QuackPot Food Lab.

We’re building, trying, listening and revising. The games and learning materials are evolving; we haven’t yet established their learning outcomes through family or classroom trials. Game rewards show that an activity was completed, not that a skill has been mastered.

Our food-science explanations draw on the sources listed with each resource. What we’re testing is the way we bring those ideas to life. Recipe and kitchen-testing notes remain specific to each activity; the cookbook is still a First Edition Preview.

Help us learn: tell us what caught your attention, what felt confusing, and what question came next. Please keep feedback about the activity and leave out children’s names or personal details.
